Mechas on the mind. The two friends in the foreground would make interesting heroes. Imagine, if they had to fight giant robots with only their intellect and guts. They'd be on their limits all the time.

I just started watching a few episodes of Grey's Anatomy. It's a great show! There are a lot of moments in there that get me pretty emotional, a lot more than in movies.

Applejacks Late Night Sketch

Moving ahead on the Applejack World, one sketch at a time. This character doesn't quite have a name yet. I already feel like he's going to be that early morning organizer as the band sleeps in. I'm also playing around with different artist styles, so this is kinda playing off Vance Gerry's story sketches (Check out his blog if you get the chance).

Keeper of time - Sketchaholic contest

I'd imagine the keeper of time to be the mechanic of the world's clocks and many forms of time-keeping. He would derive how to fix (or better) his machinery from his sensitivity for how time is operated. Mechanical arms and schematics would help him with watches of any style or if they were crafted by tiny hands or steel built. He'd also travel around his tower by rail.
