Moving ahead on the Applejack World, one sketch at a time. This character doesn't quite have a name yet. I already feel like he's going to be that early morning organizer as the band sleeps in. I'm also playing around with different artist styles, so this is kinda playing off Vance Gerry's story sketches (Check out his blog if you get the chance).

Needed to make original characters for our story class, we'll be working with them as we move through the class :) Here's their info:
These characters are all established musicians each with their own crazy eccentricity. They are collectively called "The Applejacks" in reference to a favorite cereal of the past. The guy on the far left is almost completely robotic with a human soul, and can rebuild himself whenever he breaks down from rocking too hard. The girl is a social butterfly and has a lot of musical talent. The next middle guy is the leader and dabbles into Japanese Rock cosplays. He's the guitarist. The guy on the right is the strong and silent type. He's the drummer of the group and always has a sporty take to playing.
They entertain their community every weekend at the RV park.
The styling is taken from graphic novels and manga.

These were for a side story that I wanted to showcase in my portfolio. Young Rebelous teens want to have it all, even their own homes and insurance. This fella really thinks ahead, and convinces his parents to let him live a teenage dream, of earning an rocked out space!

Never got around to finishing and coloring this late night inspired piece. Though being the last priest alive in a barren wasteland makes you wonder what he'd do. Maybe relieve lost souls or rebuild a shack? Or possibly scout out for new folks.

I'd imagine the keeper of time to be the mechanic of the world's clocks and many forms of time-keeping. He would derive how to fix (or better) his machinery from his sensitivity for how time is operated. Mechanical arms and schematics would help him with watches of any style or if they were crafted by tiny hands or steel built. He'd also travel around his tower by rail.

Late night sketch before falling into bed. I have Diver by Nico Touches The Wall stuck on my mine with Naruto falling into the sea of his own despair and hopes. I'm starting to really love music nowadays: X-Japan, Armin Van Buuren, Jack o'callihan, some music ignites an image.
